A two year residency at RSPB Minsmere in Suffolk:

  • offering opportunities to visitors to record their impressions of Minsmere.  Over 20 large sketch books were filled with sketches, drawings, writings and poetry by visitors of all ages.
  • offering opportunities for visitors to be hands on with the reserve, making animal and bird sculptures from found wood which have formed temporary sculpture trails on the reserve.
  • making my own temporary site specific sculptures on the reserve inspired by the place and by visitors’ entries in the journals
  • making a plastic palace on the beach to which visitors brought plastic from the tideline and made entries into a palace journal
